We are looking for an experienced Inventory Management Specialist to join our Goods Movement team.

THE POSITION

As a Inventory Management Specialist you will oversee the movements of goods, including monitoring the status of VARO and third-party stock for a VARO-region. You’ll be working with a large array of internal and external contacts, such as traders, suppliers, execution team and third party terminals. You will become part of a team of experienced supply chain associates at our Rotterdam office.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Initiate master data changes related to stocked and transported products;
Guide Trading/Execution to enter trades/transports correctly in the systems that ERP and ETRM are aligned;
Monitor mappings between ETRM and ERP systems for products/terminals/Load ports/Barges;
Daily communication with internal stakeholders: Traders, Product Quality, SC Planning & Optimization, Tax, Backoffice;
Processing of corrections and Tank Transfers (in case 3rd party stocks in JDE);
Inform third party stock owners about their stock position and movements;
Proactively signal bottlenecks and anticipate on them;
Responding to the ever changing market conditions and setting the right priorities to ensure that the best results are achieved for the entire supply chain.

YOUR PROFILE

HBO+ level combined with at least 5-7 years of relevant working experience;
HBO thinking level on logistic processes;
Experience with JDE or equivalent;
Background in logistics and savvy with numbers;
Background and knowledge of the petrochemical market is considered a major advantage;
Excellent knowledge of the Dutch and English language, both written and verbally.
