VAROPreem is actively driving the transformation of its German business, with a clear focus on growth, integration, and strategic development. To support this transformation, we are looking for you as a Project Management Officer (m/f/x). In this role, you will work closely with the Country President Germany as well as the commercial leadership team and take responsibility for steering and executing key strategic initiatives. You will structure complex topics, develop decision-making foundations, and ensure consistent execution in line with clearly defined priorities.

 Acting as an interface between the relevant business units, you will ensure that strategic initiatives are implemented efficiently, in alignment, and with measurable impact. The role offers high visibility, direct exposure to key business decisions, and a broad scope across the value chain.

Your Key Responsibilities

·       Steering and execution of strategic initiatives within the German business – from concept to implementation

·       Development of business cases, analyses, and decision materials for senior management

·       Preparation and development of presentations and management materials to support data-driven decision-making

·       Structuring complex topics and deriving clear, actionable recommendations

·       Supporting transformation projects, integrations (e.g. M&A), and process optimizations

·       Close collaboration with Commercial, Supply & Trading, Sustainable Energies, Strategy & Transformation, and M&A

·       Alignment and coordination of key stakeholders to ensure efficient project progress

·       Establishing transparency on project status, priorities, and dependencies

·       Ensuring focused and timely execution of strategic initiatives

Your Profile

·       Successfully completed degree in Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification

·       Several years of professional experience (approx. 3+ years) in consulting, project management, strategy, or transformation

·       Ideally initial experience in the energy sector or in a regulated environment

·       Strong analytical skills and solid business acumen

·       Experience in managing complex, cross-functional projects

·       Excellent PowerPoint skills and the ability to present complex topics in a clear and audience-oriented way

·       Fluency in German and English

·       Strategic mindset combined with a pragmatic, execution-oriented way of working

·       High level of ownership and the ability to proactively drive topics forward

·       Structured and solution-oriented approach to complex challenges

·       Confident and professional interaction with senior stakeholders

·       Strong willingness to learn, curiosity, and resilience in a dynamic environment
