About the job

To manage our current and future project load, we are looking for specialists to join our project teams. The Mechanical Project Managers are involved in multiple projects simultaneously. They are implicated in all phases of the project, from early studies to detailed engineering, construction and commissioning engineering.

Tasks and responsibilities

Mechanical Project Management tasks

  • Carry out all steps of the projects under his responsibility (scope, organization, quality, schedule, costs, risks,…)
  • Coordinates the project team work and tasks, according to work processes and procedures

Lead Mechanical Engineer tasks

  • Elaborates studies (specifications, drawings,…), according to applicable laws, norms and standards
  • Insures technical contracts follow-up (bidding packages preparation, quotes comparison, QA/QC)
  • Supervises construction and commissioning works
  • Insures sufficient work force to carry out projects

Qualifications

  • EPFL/HES or University Mechanical Engineering Diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years experience in project management
  • 10 years experience in the oil & gas industry or similar process industry
  • CAPM/PMP certification in project management (PMI) constitutes an asset
  • Basic knowledge of refining processes and refinery units
  • Good knowledge in office tools including MSProject

  • You have good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good level of French and English both spoken and written is a must
  • Detail and result oriented, you are able to prioritize tasks and meet critical deadlines
  • You are able to manage a changing work load and work well under pressure
  • Able to make concrete, realistic proposals aligned with business needs
