Treasury Analyst

The Position

Ensure stable, controlled, and scalable Treasury operations across the Group. Act as a cross-functional Treasury operator covering In-House Bank, Treasury Systems, and Trade Finance backup execution, while supporting the evolving operating model during integration.

The role scope will evolve in line with integration progress and the development of the target operating model.

Your Key Responsibilities

In-House Bank (IHB)

  • Execute and control intercompany funding, settlements, and reconciliations

  • Perform month-end close activities and resolve discrepancies with Accounting

  • Deliver accurate reporting, analysis, and insights on IHB activity

  • Support controlled and timely settlement processes across Group entities

Treasury Systems (TMS)

  • Act as SME for the Treasury Management System (TMS), overseeing configuration, access, controls, and day-to-day operations

  • Own and maintain the Group TMS landscape, including interfaces, data flows, and reporting

  • Ensure system reliability, data integrity, and seamless connectivity across platforms and automated processes

  • Manage system changes, vendor relationships, and stakeholder coordination, ensuring proper governance and documentation

  • Monitor and resolve system issues in collaboration with IT and support teams

  • Drive continuous improvement, automation, and efficiency across treasury systems and processes

Trade Finance Support & Execution

  • Execute Letters of Credit, guarantees, and other trade finance transactions as required

  • Coordinate with banks, counterparties, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely execution

  • Monitor and report on trade finance instruments, including daily tracking and key reporting to banks and internal stakeholders

  • Manage monthly processes such as reconciliations, validations, fee administration, and accounting accruals

 Corporate Credit Card Management

  • Manage and enhance the Corporate Card Programme across geographies, including provider selection, relationship management, and commercial terms

  • Oversee the issuance, maintenance, and cancellation of corporate credit cards

  • Ensure timely distribution of monthly credit card statements

  • Monitor and analyse credit card usage, providing regular reporting and insights

  Controls, Governance & Reporting

  • Maintain strong controls, audit readiness, and clear operational documentation

  • Identify, escalate, and mitigate operational risks across IHB, TMS, and Trade Finance activities

  • Ensure adherence to Treasury policies, procedures, system controls, and segregation of duties requirements

  • Support integration activities by documenting processes, harmonising ways of working, and contributing to the target operating model

Your Profile - Essential

abilities

  • Strong understanding of Treasury operations, including In-House Bank processes, intercompany settlements, controls, and trade finance instruments

  • Hands-on experience with Treasury Management Systems, including configuration, interfaces, reporting, and automation

  • Good knowledge of SWIFT connectivity, e-banking platforms, and treasury-related IT processes

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a high level of accuracy and control awareness (including segregation of duties)

  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and operate effectively in a dynamic environment, managing time-critical tasks under pressure

Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field

  • 2-4 years of experience in Treasury, Treasury Operations, Treasury Systems, In-House Bank, Trade Finance, Banking Operations, or a related finance function

  • Experience with Treasury Management Systems, IT2 preferred and treasury process optimisation is strongly preferred

  • Experience in a multinational, commodity trading sector experience an advantage
