VARO Energy is a dynamic, fast developing, integrated European downstream company launched in 2012. We have a solid background in traditional energies, with a refining capacity of 176,000 bbl./day and a total storage capacity of almost 2,5mio m3.

In the meantime, through our ONE VARO strategy, we are transforming ourselves into a leading energy transition company with a strong strategic focus on green hydrogen, bio-methane and bio-LNG, biofuels, carbon offsets and E-mobility. Renewables already contribute half of our total annual result and we are looking to expand further in this area. Leveraging our knowledge in the renewables space will not only allow us to make a positive contribution to the energy transition, it will also enable us to further grow our market share. We will do so via our strong marketing organisation with activities in wholesale, retail and end-consumer deliveries. In combination with our sophisticated supply & trading and biofuels organisation, we excel at unlocking value from our Integrated Fuels Value Chains (FVCs).

THE POSITION

As a Trading Operator you will be a valuable member of our international Supply Chain (Bio Light Ends Execution) team. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient execution of inland shipping activities in all our regions. This position is crucial for ensuring smooth logistics and facilitating cooperation between various internal teams and external stakeholders.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Inform LSP’s and terminals (load and discharge);

• Inform/Consult traders about contract positions;

• Send nominations to suppliers and others;

• Process B/L’s, CoA’s;

• Monitor consistency of data interfaced between JDE and Vista and Initiate master data changes/additions related to barges;

• Monitor exchange contracts;

• Align ADN details and keep up-to-date;

• Process truck liftings;

• Register tank levels.

YOUR PROFILE

The ideal candidate:

• MBO level of processing;

• Minimum of 2 years of experience within the Supply Chain workfield;

• Preferably native in the Dutch language, proficient in the English language. German will be an advantage;

• Proficient with Microsoft 365 Office.
